Mocha

MEET MOCHA
A lovely guinea pig who needs a very special foster. Age unknown, Mocha came into rescue already pregnant, she was being attacked by the male she was kept with so was very stressed. They have now been separated and although she is calmer she is still on very high alert. Mocha needs a very quiet home or a quiet room within the home where she can decompress and prepare for her impending birth. We will consider a foster with older children who can understand Mochas situation fully. An experienced foster, with knowledge and preferably experience of pregnant guinea pigs and pups. Mocha and her babies will need lots of space and please bear in mind that babies will stay with foster for 5 weeks after birth, however room to separate any males will also be needed.
Thorough home checks and proof of set up will be needed prior to any foster agreement
You will also need to use or vet registration form and register with a veterinary clinic under the rescues name

FRAPPE

MEET FRAPPE
A male guinea pig, age unknown. Was left free roaming in a concrete garden, with short periods of time free roaming a house where children would chase him. Frappe is a scared little guy and will need a foster home that can really give him space and time and understanding. He is not happy with being handled too much but has not bitten just tries to run away. Once he has had the time and space to decompress, we are confident that Frappe will become a completely different pig. He is very underweight and will need lots of nourishment and enrichment. Children in the home, who are guinea pig savvy will be considered.
